A 43-year old institution in Carmel, Anton & Michel Restaurant started serving the more formal French cuisine but through the years they incorporated contemporary dishes.
Their recent renovation made the restaurant feel less formal. The pool and courtyard provide a romantic setting.
There are more people eating indoors tonight maybe because of the chilly weather. But we are here outdoors, enjoying the single-digit temperature. It’s quieter because everyone is indoors. It’s more romantic here too.
