Dinner at Aristos Restaurant

September 15, 2019, Athens
No time to lay down even for 15 minutes because we would be picked up at the hotel at 6:30 pm. I did manage to take a shower and change clothes to feel clean and refreshed.  The big sikip bus was in front of our hotel on point.  We drove to the restaurant for about 15 minutes.  Malapit lang pero paikut-ikot yung kalye at saka masikip ang mga daan.

I was curious about the choice of restaurant and the quality of food and service. I was not disappointed.
Aristos
I instantly liked the restaurant’s interiors.

Food had been pre-ordered. The last thing I expected to see in Greece was French Fries. Not bad. I am matakaw, I eat most of the food served in front of me.

With Sonny, Charlotte and her husband Anthony Cheng

Grilled hot chili peppers to spice up our first night in Athens.

The grilled chicken was delicious. I didn’t taste the grilled beef skewer but I heard it was equally tasty.

Seven out of eleven persons in this photo reside in the same subdivision, what a small world.

It was also Anthony Cheng’s 55th birthday. It’s always nice to have a birthday cake, you know, tradition.

I asked one of the restaurant’s female staff about the name of the restaurant Apitoe, she wrote it down for me, it’s pronounced as Aristos, from the name Aristotle, which means excellent. An old photo of Greek billionaire Aristotle Onassis is prominently displayed on one of the wall’s restaurant.
