Our tour companions opted to get a Euro 20 refund per person instead of dining at Duna Corso restaurant. They wanted to eat Hungarian sausage at the Spring Market instead.
The four of us were the only ones who went for the sit-down dinner. We’re tired and wanted to have a quiet sit -down meal.
Gabriel, our local tour guide walked us to the restaurant. It was so near lang pala. Just in front of the Intercontinental hotel, one short block from Sofitel. She left right after she endorsed us to a waiter.
The al-fresco dining was full of people. I chose a table inside the restaurant so it would be warmer and quieter kasi walang tao sa loob. Lahat sila nasa labas.
The appetizer, foie gras, had been pre-ordered. We chose na lang the main dishes and drinks.
Lugi kami kasi wine was included but we ordered water lang and coca cola. I’ve been drinking coke since I arrived here. Meron na akong sugar overload.
We were served a plate of foie gras each. Two big slices of very delicious but deadly foie gras.

Oyen and I ordered the same thing. Pasta with mushroom. I ate all the four mushrooms plus one tikim of pasta noodles. Medyo malabsak ang luto. In France naman, para kang ngunguya ng nganga sa super al dente ng pasta nila. Dito naman, lulunukin na lang.
We all have the same dessert, chocolate cake
We truly enjoyed our dinner. We were relaxed and were able to talk about many things.
