The Boiling Crab restaurant is so successful judging from the amount of time one has to wait for a table. They could afford not to open for lunch because their tables get more than enough turns for dinner alone.
From our observation, they get more Latino customers, next are the Asians. The Mexican families come in big groups including babies and little children.
The wait could be up to an hour when you come at around 6 or 7 pm.
We waited for 40 minutes.
I was the only one who ate the crab. I wasn’t satisfied with this one. The crab’s meat was not soft. It seemed like overcooked and not as fat and fresh as the one we recently had at Hot & Juicy Crawfish. Edmund and I both agreed, as far as crab is concerned, mas masarap sa Hot & Juicy.
We had two orders of fried catfish with fries. They were delicious.
Pagdating namin sa parking, naku naiwan pala ni Edmund nakabukas yung ilaw ng sasakyan namin. Buti na lang nagstart ang battery. Bong said “An, don’t worry you have triple A”. Edmund’s excuse was the bright lights around Las Vegas. He couldn’t notice daw if his lights were on or off. Nung isang beses, a policemen stopped him and told him to turn on his headlights. Takbo ng takbo wala pala syang ilaw. This happened a few times already. Sa parking naman, it happened twice na.
