For my dinner giveaways, I wanted to order something personalized but I didn’t have time to think, plan, order. Instead, I hied off to National Bookstore and bought Van Gogh, Modern Art, etc, coffee table books. The choices were limited. I should’ve gone to Fully Booked or National Bookstore in Shang.
Most lawyers like art. I can’t afford to give each one of of them real art so eto na lang, pictures.
I didn’t like any of their gift wrappers. From Podium I went to the bigger National Bookstore in SM Megamall. I found a better looking wrapper for P55+ each. Ang mahal ano? Nung araw yun na ang regalo ko. (Ang kulit. Eh totoo naman. Ngayon lahat ang mahal.
I have several rolls of silver and black ribbons. Not a perfect match but the color and design blends.
They will no longer notice if the wrapper and ribbon don’t match.
I found some letter cut-outs in my crafts box.
Aside from the art books, of course I will give them soap pampaputi ng kutis.
I bought 9 pieces of shopping bags from National Bookstore in Podium. One piece is 47.50 pesos. Nung araw you can go shopping with 50 pesos, yun na ang halaga ng regalo, ngayon supot pa lang yun.
A —– Maglagay ka ng tatlong dosenang sabon kada bag. Ilan ang tatlong dosena?
Maid—- Forty.
Next day, I noticed that there’s still space in the shopping bag for more soaps.
A—— Hindi pa pala puno. Lagyan mo pa ng isang dosena.
Maid— Dagdagan pa?
A—— Lagyan mo pa ng isang dosena kada bag.
Maid— Mga Anim pa.
A—— Isang dosena.
Maid— Eight?

Kakatuwa naman you always give your guests soaps. How come you have so many? Do you make them? Where do you get the pampaputi soap?
