November 10, 2018 Saturday
I convinced my husband to come with me to Marcia Adams restaurant in Tagaytay for dinner.
The last time we were here was oon August 26, 2012 for Edmund’s birthday dinner. The service was so slow we vowed not to come back. But here we are again, and a lot has changed. They have expanded the dining areas and now has a wedding ceremony stage.
Cute touches of old charm with batibot chairs and a bird cage.
Edmudn has been on strict self-imposed food diet for a month now. He has shed-off at least 5 pounds and people have noticed. He just eats salad and rice or carbo is a super NO.
Looks good but since my companion is on a diet, grilled meats would be too heavy on his shrunk belly.
The waiter recommended a pork dish but I didn’t know which one of this two.
The soup was meaty and heavy. This could be a meal in itself.
We split a plate of melon, prosciutto salad. I truly liked it. Just fresh greens with an understated amount of dressing that wasn’t sweet nor sour.
We split this delicious grilled pork. The slice was huge unfortunately I ended up eating most of it because my companion was and still is dieting.
Give me a scoop of vanilla ice creama and mix it with any fruit or anything and I would gladly take it anytime anyday. This grilled orange complimented the vanilla ice cream and honey.
While husband sipped his coffee, I was enjoying the diabetes-forgetting dessert. Hay ang sarap talaga.
