East West bank hosted a Dealers’ Appreciation Night for car dealers and employees at the grand ballroom of the Solaire Resort and Casino in Entertainment City, Pasay City.
Traffic was terrible kasi daw it’s a friday. Any day naman traffic is bad. Edmund was thinking of detouring and eating ramen na lang somewhere in Makati. The invitation said 6 pm but we were still in the van by 8 pm. Hindi na sana kami tutuloy except that Oyen was also going and I brought a shawl for her.
Oyen arrived ahead of us by a few minutes.
They both left something in their respective vehicles kaya they were calling the drivers to come back.
Dress code was formal but we thought it’s not going to be so. Many people would come in office attire and some in casual clothes.
VJ Sarah Meier was the emcee.
We thought we were late but we got there just on time. We caught the tail end of East west bank’s president’s speech.
In 10 mmintues, they called Julienne to come up on stage for an appreciation award. Every dealer, from Ford, Kia, Mitsubishi, Honda, etc. also got one

There were buffet tables for the majority but ours was set menu.
Smoked Salmon
The beef medallion was soft and tender. I can’t say it tasted great, but it was good. I just wished it had more seasoning.
Oyen and I shared. I ate the tiny scoop of raspberry ice cream. She tasted the chocolate cake.
I wasn’t very hungry kasi I ate fried rice and baby tawilis at 4 pm.
