The bus brought us around the Mykonos island, stopping at another beach but I didn’t get off the bus anymore. It was so hot outside and I was actually exhausted and having a migraine, which started when we climbed the hill to the windmills.
The bus driver was masungit. He wanted to turn off the airconditioning, naiinis sa amin. We said NO! Ang init-init sa labas, kahit nga sa loob ng bus hindi gaanong malamig, tapos papatayin yung aircon. Para naman kaming kawawa.
Lucky I didn’t get off the bus because the beach the tour guide wanted to show us was closed. Meron daw harang.
After another 20-minute bus ride, we reached our hotel, Dionisios. It’s located near a cluster of restaurants and a 5-minute walk to the Omos beach.
The bus dropped us off in front of this nipa huts instead of bringing us to our hotel. We had to walk back about a hundred meters. We didn’t know if that was on purpose kasi nga nainis sya sa amin.
Potted olive tree beside the hotel’s main entrance.
There’s a medium-sized swimming pool just off the lobby / bar.
Our hotel consists of a cluster of quadruplex buildings.
Our room, number 152, is a 5-minute walk from the reception area.
It has a nice king bed.
It has an odd lay-out but it’s fine, it’s comfortable and spacious.
The tiles are shiny and slippery. Edmund placed a bath towel on the shower’s floor so I don’t slip. Baka madulas na naman ako. Si Owee Cruz nadulas and hurt her knee.
There’s a sliding door leading to an outdoor terrace. Not interested to go out, ang init ano.
