Dishonest Micro Entrepreneurs

A small business entrepreneur came to my office trying to borrow money for her ukay-ukay business. I am not a 5/6. Nauto-uto lang nila ako two years ago. Dozens came to my office pretending to need money to sell vegetables in the market, to expand their lechon business, to spruce up her dental clinic, to buy materials for his papag making business, to buy more inventory for her online store, to buy a new photo copying machine for her photo copying business, to buy water containers for her water-refilling station, and dozens and dozens more fake stories. I found out that some of them went straight to the Thunderbird Casino in Eastridge, Binangonan, Rizal right after they received money from me.

I mean no disrespect to the LGBT, but the 5 gay guys who borrowed money from me supposedly for their soap making business, beauty parlor, spa, carinderia, etc. had no intention to pay me back from day one. I was so proud of them pa naman. I thought they were hard-working, industrious, creative. Their talent pala is into scamming people. Nagsusugal din pala.

I was more than happy to lend them capitals for their micro businesses. I thought I would be helping a lot of people improve their lives, and then it would be their turn to help others, and the good deeds would continue. I thought I would be doing them a big favor by saving them from the usurious lenders. Yun pala, they have no real intention to go into an honest to goodness way of living, to sweat and toil. Gusto pala magsugal at baka yumaman sila dun sa casino.

I was willing to lend some money to help them with their businesses. Siguro I just have a deep compassion for people because I know how difficult it is to raise capital. When you borrow money intended to grow your business, you cannot use the money for other things. You cannot go shopping nor gamble. Otherwise, that money entrusted to you would be lost and you will not be able to pay your creditor back. Trust is lost. An honest businessman values trust otherwise his business will not flourish.

Those people will not change. They are used to borrowing money and not paying a single centavo.
A lot of people in Binangonan are mga balasubas at kapal-muks.

Moral lesson: Huwag ng magtiwala. Bawasan ang awa.

  1. Hi Ms. Annie! 🙂

Naku. Mahirap talaga magpahiram sa panahon ngayon. Tama kayo na yung moment na nagpapahiram ka, you feel good kasi sa puso mo alam mong nakakatulong ka with hope na magtagumpay sila. Kaso marami na talagang masasamang tao ngayon. They dont pay you back kasi iniisip nila na di mo na kailangan yung pera. You might not need the money for yourself, PERO… the money that they gave back, you can use again to help somebody else.

Kahit ako nalulungkot minsan whenever i see honest people on tv who gave back lost/left items getting recognitions and rewards. Malungkot man… Ay isa ng katotohanan. Hayyy..

    Ms. Annie! Baka naman…

    Haha.. Joke lang! 🙂
