The House of Representatives (Congress) approved the Divorce bill. I am eager to see the details or implementing rules and regulations. I want to know the complete list of the valid grounds or reasons, etc. A marriage is bound by a legal contract. When one enters into a contract, it is binding and to unbind from the obligations there must be a valid reason and this must be clearly defined. Kasi parang unfair naman na after a few months, wala lang gusto na nyang mag-divorce. It’s unfair to the other party. A simple illustration is buying a car. Once the vehicle had left our facility, the buyer cannot just return it because the buyer wanted to have a different color, or model.
However, when your spouse wants out of your marriage for whatever reasons, fair or no fair, just let he/her go. Mahirap pilitin ang ayaw na. Staying with you must be thru his/her own volition. Dapat gusto nya talaga, hindi lang napipilitan. Although it’s more complicated when there are children.

Kasi daw most women are dependent on their husbands for support, many don’t work eh baka daw ma-agrabyado. Oh hayan ha take note of that coming from my husband.
Coming from me— kaya dapat lahat tayo magtrabaho and not to depend on our husbands. Para kung mag-divorce eh di hindi worried kung merong kakainiin o wala. Be financially independent from your husband. It’s better that women have some work even part time or even if the income is not big.

You are mistaken. There are two houses of Congress. The House of the Representatives or the Lower House and the Senate. Divorce to ‘be’ in the Philippines must be concurred by both houses. As of this hour the Senate has not approve it.

It is wrong to tell these people they must live on their own for the rest of their lives, we dont know how you will cope, but thats your problem. Where is the humanity in this Country. ?
No one should be in control of another Human, they have a life as you do.
They want a Divorce, give it to them, If you dont believe in Divorce thats fine, dont get divorced, but dont force others to live a lonely life, they may want to try again.
