Instead of randomly hailing a cab along Kalakaua Avenue, Oyen hooked up with Uber. It was surprisingly fast, on the dot and very reliable (in Hawaii).
The Uber guy’s vehicle is a very new Lexus SUV.
Looking for the doctor’s address
There’s a tv screen on the wall with what looked like an aquarium, merong swimming fish. At the corner, there’s a fountain. The sound of flowing water didn’t make me relax like in a spa. It made me kulili. It sounded like some guy was peeing.
Woman selling freshly made mochi came in. The secretary and a white guy bought. Mukang suki na sila.
The American guy said the crunchy ones are the best.
Since we haven’t had lunch, we also bought.
3 for $10 but we wouldn’t be able to finish the 3. I offered to pay $7 for two and she agreed. She said she made them.
Freshly made mochi. The best mochi ever. Oyen and I’s favorite was the crunchy cookie. Nyke preferred the orange flavor.
Dr. Winona Wong’s derma clinic
She gave the same prognosis: Atopic dermatitis, biggest trigger is heat and humidity. Perspiration would make his skin itchy and thus susceptible to break-outs and infections. Steroid creams, moisturizers, mild unscented soaps, etc. She prescribed antibiotics for 5 days.
Nyke has sore throat but we didn’t go there for that. He took benadryl last night. Feeling nya meron syang sinat pero wala naman pag inaapa ko. I gave him warm compress on his face, forehead and shoulders to calm him because he was becoming anxious of his condition.
Hi Annie!
My suggestion:
1) Tylenol Multi-Symptom ( 2 caplet in one blister ) is also good. Meron for Daytime & Nightime.
2) Aquaphor Healing Ointment – very effective for dry, cracked or irritated skin.
You can buy them over the counter in Walgreens, CVS or any dept. stores like Target & Walmart.
I hope he’ll feel better soon.
Thanks!

also Chloraseptic Lozenges ( diff. flavor and has sugar free ) for Sore Throat.
Thank you Bess for the suggestions. You’re like a nurse.
