Dome in Eastwood - Oh My Buhay

Saturday night, September 15, 2012

We almost didn’t make it to church because Edmund got caught in a traffic jam after a heavy downpour coming from Chinatown.
Meron daw syang hinanap na mga lighting fixtures. He brought home a kilo of Lechong Macao. No kid, that’s really how it’s called. It’s like lechong kawali but a lot tastier.

We made it to the 6:30 pm anticipated mass albeit 10 minutes late. My brother-in-law Bbok was the guitarist cum choir leader. Auntie Flor was also there.

I saw our former neighbor Jing Remo, one of the Senior Vice Presidents at BPI
Me———– Kailan ka magiging presidente?
Jing——— “never”.
Her one and only child Daniel lost 140 lbs. He was 380 lbs. a year ago. He said he quit rice and all carbo, engaged in several sports like basketball, badminton, swimming and golf. He’s 20, 6’2 tall and goes to Ateneo. He’s planning to get a new passport because his passport photo looks so different from how he looks like now and immigration officers always asked for additional identification cards.

After the mass, we couldn’t decide where to eat. We agreed to go to Eastwood Mall and choose from among the restos there.
We forgot that it’s weekend-payday and there were just too many people. It was hard to walk straight and msot of the restaurants were packed. My daughter was in the mood for pizza and pasta so we went to Italliani’s but sobra silang puno.
Edmund and I wanted to have a quiet dinner so we went out of the mall.

Edmund—– anak, choose a restaurant, I am feeling dizzy from looking at the crowd.

And daming mimes siguro kasi weekend.

Edmund had a bright idea. “Let’s go to the most expensive restaurant, sigurado konti tao”.
We went to Caffecino by Dome although they’re prices are not expensive.

Every time we’re going to a restaurant we always say that we would just have a light meal but we always ended up eating a lot.

Caffecino by Dome is located outside the Eastwood Mall building. It’s about 30 steps towards the right side of the activity area, at the corner of the building across the mall, infront of the steak house.
