1. My daughter and I had a meeting this morning at a house near the Guadalupe area. The place is hilly with narrow streets bustling with vehicles and people.
If you are an LV fanatic, this is where you can get knock-of LV door mats.
2. From Guadalupe, my next destination was Cayetano Blvd. in Taguig.
My driver didn’t have a clue where we were. He only convoyed going to Guadalupe. I told him we’re going to C5, and to just go straight all the way. I was just on the phone when he suddenly tried to turn left. Tried, because I yelled “DIRETSO!!!!” Hindi natuloy, kinabig nya agad pa kanan, then diretso. Nainis na naman ako.
A—-“HIndi na talaga ako makakapigil, hahampasin ko na kayo ng ….” I was about to say tsinelas ko but when I looked down, I was not wearing tsinelas. I was wearing sandals. Kaya I had to change my script… “hahampasin ko kayo ng sandalyas ko”.
I told him beginning tomorrow I do not want him driving for me dahil kinukunsumi lang nya ako. Dapat sa kanya driver ng MRT. Walang ligaw. Atras abante lang. Edmund wants me to switch driver with Oyen, eh di anak ko naman ang nakunsumi. One time nga she rode with me, nakunsumi na sya because we were running out of gasoline. The gas warning was already on and yet the driver wasn’t saying anything. When asked, he reasoned out that we still have enough gas to reach our house. The travel conditions in Metro Manila reduces the distance we get for every liter of gas. This is further aggravated by the driving style. Bibirit kahit traffic, tapos biglang stop.
3. A cement mixer fell on a small car in Mindanao Avenue, Quezon City. I pity the family who was riding in the white car when a truck fell on them. That killed the padre de pamilya and injured his wife and children.
The footage showed that the vehicles were moving slow and the truck was going fast.
4. Kaya pag merong malaking truck sa tabi natin, umiwas tayo. let them go ahead. Do not stay in front of it or along its path especially when the road is downhill. But sometimes it’s not easy to move away from them.
Note:
5. C5 and Katipunan Avenue near Ateneo are full of trucks. I no longer like taking C5. I don’t feel safe cruising side by side with huge trucks.
6. 1 pm is not yet considered rush hour but it’s already heavy traffic in EDSA. I was supposed to go to Ford EDSA but the heavy traffic took away the time I allotted so I just detoured and went to Shangrila Mall instead to have lunch and to spend the P2,000 gift certificate given to me.
