We are down to only one maid. The only one left is managing it well so far. And despite being alone, she still looks calm and collected. She bathed Tyler and Stitch yesterday without we asking her. We’re grateful.

The employment agency wanted to give me back the cook I fired, this time as laundry woman. Gusto daw kasing bumalik dito. Nay ko po. When I refused, they brought a certain Inday who only stayed for 10 days. After getting her salary, she didn’t come back anymore because her husband daw didn’t want her to work.

The other maid naman went on an extended day off of 5 days. Kesyo she ran out of pamasahe daw. When she came back, all she did was lay down on the bed with her feet up and her right hand on her cellphone, chatting with people. Ang daming plot twists, two boyfriends, husband but not, etc. We really liked her but her children needed her.

Two nights ago, the agency brought two maids here. One, supposedly a house cleaner, the other one, to do laundry. When the one named Gina saw the printed contract I was reading, she said “agency ba ito? May kontrata?”
She claimed she didn’t know that her employment was thru an agency. Which was hard to believe because she came from their office. After a 30 minute conference, she agreed to stay. But the next morning, I let her go.
My husband heard her talking to someone on the phone saying that naloko daw sya, agency pala, etcetera etcetera.

Inihatid ko pa sya sa gate at mainit maglakad, naawa pa ako.

The other one naman, supposed to be lavandera, now claims that she doesn’t want to do clothes, mapapagod daw sya, ayaw din nya maglinis, mapapagod din daw sya. Ang sabi they just wanted to stay in Manila for free.

Hindi ko na lang sya pinapansin, nadun text lang ng text. Tapos nood ng tv. I have bigger problems than worry about why she was not even helping to clean. Hayaan ko na lang sya.

I’ve been calling the agency to pick this woman up and return my money but so far they’ve not been answering my texts and phone calls.

  1. Good morning Ms. Annie!

Super irritating women! Kaya I taught my kids how to at least fry their own ulam and how to cook rice using the rice cooker so they at least won’t get hungry. When my eldest child learned how to fry and cook rice na I never hired anyone to help us na. Less stress pa! And the kids like to be on their own na lang kasi the help daw is mga tamad. Hay!

        1. Hi Chelsea,
Yes I contacted them twice but their fees are too high. P11,500 / maid . I wanted to get 3 from them but I found the P34,500 staggering with uncertainty that their maids would also be like the others. I thought of getting one from them when I get back to Manila in July just to try.
          Thanks.
