I was curious about the Summerlin area in Las Vegas. Locals say that it’s popular and one of the most sought after addresses in Las Vegas. It has become a status symbol to live there because there are homes that sit on the side of the Red Rock Canyon that command up to $10 million dollars. Even if you live in a $1,000 rental apartment, if your address is Summerlin, it’s something people brag about. Even the Taiwanese Uber driver I hailed to bring me to Downtown Summerlin he told me that houses there are really expensive and the place is for rich people only. Not entirely true because not all houses are in the million dollar range. It’s a perception and it works well with the real estate developers who can price their houses higher than market price.

But it’s true that it’s an area you can feel proud of living in. It’s a master planned community and the roads, houses, commercial buildings and facilities are well coordinated and design cohesive.

Despite the big Christmas promo on undies, I turned my back and walked away because they didn’t have my size. I am XXS ( extra extra small)

This art wall gave the place a community town appeal. I sat at a bench across it and stared at the paintings.

After two hours, I walked to the corner where Uber could easily pick me up. All I needed was 3 minutes and the driver was there. Cool and reliable.
