While I was still in the US sometime in January, my husband called asking me about Abel & Cara. Kakilala ko ba daw kasi a Save the Date was sent to our house. I told him the names didn’t ring a bell. Hindi ko kilala. Sya rin daw, wala daw syang kilalang Cara and Abel. Then he joked, baka kapatid ni Cain.
Yun pala, Cara is the daughter of his friend Joel Sanvicente.
We drove to Clark on March 9 to attend their wedding on that Saturday evening. I felt so lazy and I actually didn’t want to go. I wasn’t happy with the thought that I would be wearing something formal. Tamad na tamad akong magbihis. I was so uninspired to dress up because of my protruding stomach. “Uupo ka lang naman” my husband assured me. He said we couldn’t miss this wedding because the father of the bride invited only a few so we should be present.
We reached Clark at 2 pm with two stops, Starbucks and McDo.
I didn’t want to go straight to the hotel, I requested my date if we could find a place to break our road trip, get a drink.
Medyo naligaw kami inside Clark while looking for McDo.
I got off the car and went ahead to order our food while he was parking.
E—-“Mauna ka na, basta akin, Big Mac.” He forgot his wallet and went back to the car.
While I was staring at the board, I noticed the different sizes and prices of Big Mac. It says Small Medium Large.
When Edmund came back…
A—-“Tart, meron pa lang sizes yung sandwich, ano’ng order mo? Large?”
He looked at the menu board and asked the cashier.
Yun pala, the small medium large pertained to the sizes of the drink, and add ons. Not the size of the sandwich. Can you imagine if it’s the sandwich “Miss, order nga ako ng Big Mac pero yung small.”
A—-“Dapat pala hindi tayo kumakain kasi mabubusog tayo, eh mamaya merong dinner.”
E—-“Matagal pa yun.”
Nasalubong pa namin yung bridal car presumably on their way to the church. My husband assured me we have time to take a nap. That excited me because I was really feeling slow. We’re only attending the reception.
It was our first time to go to the venue, we just followed the road sign…
We crossed a bridge…
View of mountain as we entered the gate…
My husband assured me we have time to take a nap. That excited me because I was really feeling slow. I felt tired. I just wanted to laze in bed. We’re only attending the reception.
