I went to SMDC’s E-coom building near the Mall of Asia, for a meeting last Monday, April 3, 2017. My meeting was at 11 am but I arrived in the area at 10:25 am. Some streets were blocked in preparation for the big concert of Coldplay band starring Chris Martin the husband of Hollywood actress Gwyneth Paltrow.
I walked from Tower A to Tower B, with the permission from the security guards. There were a lot of employees in the lobbies and they seemed to know I was not from that area with the way they looked at me from head to toe.
The buildings in the area are nice and modern you would think you’re in another country.
Prism Plaza is like an elevated courtyard that has several restaurants for I guess call center officers and employees.
The big attraction of this cluster of buildings is the view of Manila Bay.
Although the area is beside the bay, the slight breeze was no match to the summer heat and glare.
While I stood there for two minutes waiting for my vehicle, there was a woman who approached me and offered me a job as call center agent handling Australia accounts. Hmm. She called me miss. Seldom do strangers call me miss nowadays, usually mam. There’s no age limit pala in call centers. I can still work there, I just need to undergo training to browse up on my fake British accent which is the Australian’s adopted accent too.
Miss Annie, I love your dress! Looks great on you. 🙂
Hi Pinay Greek.
Thank you for the compliment. I bought this dress a few years ago in the US. I no longer remember from which store. It’s now tight around the belly. It used to be big on me. #buntis
