It had become a Yee family tradition to spend the Easter Sunday Lunch at my mother-in-law’s residence.

Mrs. Soling Chavez vda. Yee is going to have her 80th birthday celebration in Antique come November.
They are planning to have a medical mission in her hometown, complete with free medicines and lunch. Wilma and Roald, who are both doctors, have friends who would be more than willing to volunteer their time and resources. They also have medicine donors.
I am thinking of what I can do to help. Siguro, while the hundreds of people wait for their turn to be checked-up, check-up-in ko ang mga utak nila. I will be in the mental health department. I can be a psychiatrist. Magaling rin ako sa psychology. I could tell if one is deranged. It takes one to know one.
Ang problema, her house there is too small to accommodate all of us. It’s going to be a big production kasi suggestion ni Edmund, kailangan lagyan ng koncretong bakod, kasi puro kawayan lang eh walang privacy. Sana tayo ring lahat, umabot ng 80 years old na ganyan pa ring kalakas.

After lunch comes the annual flu vaccine. Hindi libre, at cost. Sobrang tipid, Edmund paid P400 per person. Hindi kasali si Nyke kasi kay Dr. Regalado sya.
Edmund was acting like it’s so painful to scare his nieces and nephews. Mga ninerbyos tuloy.
SA totoo lang, nilalakasan ko lang loob ko. Edmund has a very high threshhold of pain. Yung hindi masakit sa kanya, sa akin masakit.
Aba’y masakit pala. Kasi yung gamot nararamdaman kong pumapasok.

Lagare kami ni Edmund. From the lunch, go naman kami kila Bong in Cubao for his father’s 70th birthday. Pero mas malakas pa ang mama ni Edmund na 79. Bong’s father lost his eye sight to glaucoma. He also can’t walk anymore kasi pinabayaan nya arthritis nya. Sayang, he’s a law book author pa naman.
