I thought I would be running on my feet to catch my flight so while caught in a bad traffic jam, I sent a text message to the airport manager on duty.
“Good evening____, I am stuck in traffic at intersection crossing SLEX to Resort World. Pls reserve my seat. Thank u—-annie tan yee.”

He instantly replied “copy po madam”.
Para akong umupa ng tricycle, paki hintay ako ha?

I got to the airport on time. Wala pa ngang tao, my husband noticed “walang tao.”
A—-“Either I am early or they are already inside”.

When my luggage was scanned, the security officer in change of the screening told me “mam, merong kang nipper, ilagay mo na lang sa maleta”.
I was surprised that I had a nipper in my carry on. I didn’t even remember putting it there.

Bawal nipper in hand carries or carry on bags kasi matulis. Deadly weapon.

The manager was standing at the PAL check-in counter when I arrived. “Annie Tan Yee!” he said. My name is too long.

A—–“Bakit walang tao?  Hindi ba puno ang flight?”

Manager—–“Mam, nakapasok na lahat”.

I thought I was early.  I was actually late.
He was quick to assist me with my one piece of luggage that I checked in. He also pulled my carry on and brought me to the entrance to the immigration.
That whole thing took only several minutes. He was so nice and helpful.

There was a long line at the immigration counter but I didn’t worry.  No worry and hurry, I had enough time.
