I was glad I changed my mind, bought a ticket, and went inside the fortress- the Edinburgh Castle, Scotland’s number one tourist destination.
The castle sits on top of Castle Rock and is surrounded by artillery.
I instantly rejected the idea of climbing up to the topmost level of the castle. Ang taas. No way.
