November 7, 2015
Edmund backed-out of our group travel to Budapest in April. He still has unused tickets expiring in December. When he suggested to me to go back to Budapest with him, he only wanted to stay for a week. I wanted to visit Prague again but Edmund could only stay until November 7 because he has many things to attend to plus he has a golf championship game and two more golf tournaments coming. That’s why I invited my sister to come along. She didn’t expect to be back in Budapest that soon. Only after 6 months.
My sister and Kimberly arrived from SFO on November 5, while Edmund left Budapest for Manila via Qatar on November 7.
He had an early breakfast. Then checked out and left at 8:30 am.
It was really cold and foggy that morning.
The clouds started to clear around 7 am.
My husband is so sweet (once in a while). Before he left, he went to a convenience store and bought me toothpaste, bread, water, anti-laglag bala padlock, and left his excess Hungarian money.
As soon as he left, I ate it. Parang bagay sya sa foggy weather.
The concierge arranged for the limo. Euro30 to the airport.
About to leave for the airport.
Waiting for the limo to the airport
Alone and single. Gloomy sky. Parang malungkot bigla.
We were busy kasi. Pag-uwi ko na lang, tila merong long weekend before Christmas. Ayun, I think November 30 is a holiday. Re-sched na lang on Bonifacio Day. Sugod mga katipunero!
Maya-maya he was texting. He wasn’t able to claim tax refund for my plates. The receipts were under my name. He said it’s only a 30 minute ride and the Mercedez Bens limo ride is comfy.
He was standing at the curb, ready with the tax refund form.
Bye tart, have a safe trip, see you in a week.
I was more relaxed on my way back to the hotel. The limo driver too, kasi wala na kaming hinahabol.
I felt alone while walking back to our room, now my room na lang, 829.
