There’s a white spot on Edmund’s arm that has grown much bigger and is now noticeable. His naturally brown skin is enhanced by his frequent golfing so from medium brown, his skin color becomes darker. After taking a bath with papaya whitening soap, his skin goes back to medium brown.
The white spot started as a tiny white dot. It’s now as big as a one centavo coin. I told him kung dumami yun buong katawan nya eh di puputi sya, magiging mestizo sya.
Edmund wants to have a tattoo to cover the white spot.
Father and daughter are looking at possible tattoo designs for Edmund.
He has not decided yet on the design. He wants to put our names— mine, Oyen, Nyke. Or he is also thinking of putting our favorite animals as our individual symbol.
He asked Oyen if she were an animal what animal she would like to be. He also asked me the same question. Oyen answered that mommy wants to be a chicken. Of course not! I love chickens. I have many chicken decors but I do not want to be Mang inasal or chicken joy. Or worse I don’t want to be tinola ni Antonia.
A—- “I want to be able to soar, to fly”.
Oyen–“Chickens fly”.
I want to be high up there with a commanding presence. I want to be in control of where I want to go and where I will be. I don’t want my mobility to be limited. Chickens can’t fly high. They can’t go very far. Hanggang tuka lang sila ng tuka.
I want to be able to see the world from above.
Pag natuloy sya magpa tattoo ako rin gagaya. I don’t know where to put it. Useless if it’s hidden, dapat sa arm din siguro. If it hurts ayaw ko na.
