All the staff of Emirates are on their toes making sure that everything is perfect at their buffet table. They overhauled their menu and they’re making sure that passengers love the new choices. Today’s the first day that they’re serving these food and they’re observing how well their Emirate’s guests are responding to the food choices. It’s like we’re attending a food tasting contest.
Oyen got a tiny can of Coca-cola, only 61 calories.
We started with the dessert. Strawberries with creme.
My son’s in heaven, he loves lamb chops.
Oyen’s healthy food choice:
Steamed salmon, asparagus, whole cherry tomatoes, boiled quail eggs.
Vegetarian choice:
Artichoke, beans, cheese, etc.
I admire Emirates Airlines’ attention to detail. They are raising the bar for lounge service. Their staff are all attentive, wiping every drop of food on the buffet table. While we were there, I saw at least eight people going in and out of the kitchen checking on the food.
George Banks, the catering manager was personally there to make sure everything is perfect. He asked me how’s the food. Good.
We’re boarding.
