Charles de Gaulle ETOILE is the Metro station of Arc de Triomphe and the beginning of Avenue des Champs Elysees.
We knew beforehand that it would be rainy in Paris. While I was packing,
Edmund gave me 3 umbrellas, Oyen brought two, now we have 5. Pag naman nabasa pa kami ng ulan.
Interdit Sauf Taxis.
Flowers are so alive and blooming, siguro kasi ang sarap ng panahon dito, malamig.
Para bang ngayon lang kami nakakita ng mga bulaklak. We’re just enjoying the cold weather here in Paris, kahit ang hirap magbihis, ang baduy ko pa, hindi terno-terno, I borrowed my son’s socks.
We passed by a seafood restaurant but busog pa kami.
They have fresh oysters too.
Menu decouverte. Ano daw? Basta mag-order ka. Ituro mo yung picture.
Eto pala sewing machine. Edmund has been wanting to buy a sewing/embroidery machine for our personal use.
Every store selling macarons, my children enter and buy one piece, tikim lang.
They are on a mission to find the best macaron in Paris.
They bought one big piece of blueberry flavor. Very delicious daw.
Nangawala na yung mga bisikleta na isinabit sa kanto ng Ortigas at Edsa, inuuwi nung mga tao. Dito hindi.
An Ohmybuhay reader who is based in Canada recommended that I go to Depot Vente in Paris. When I Googled the location, there are many locations pala. These are stores selling pre-owned shoes, bags, fashion accessories, dresses, jackets, and other knick-knacks. He told me it’s cheaper to buy in Depot Vente than shopping in Rue de Faubourg.
We went to one and didn’t find anything of interest. It’s a small store and of course, the items are limited. There’s a nice wedding gown but I am not getting married again. I saw a Kelly bag but it’s so old-looking and worn-out. At Euro 5,600.00 it’s not worth it.
We only browsed at their merchandise for less than 5 minutes. It’s good that we went otherwise I would always be curious kung ano ba yung depot vente. (Thank you to my Omb reader.)
There’s a Zara Home store along Champs Elysees. I bought some soap, room incense and sticks.
We were so tired of walking, rest muna
A bit of nostalgia- This store has been here as far as I can remember. I’ve been here a couple of times before when Nyke was still small. I bought him a green Lacoste t-shirt. I think I also bought him a read one when he was a little bit bigger.
