Every time I went to Santis, UCC Cafe, Starbucks and the Rustan’s grocery on the basement of The Clubhouse (!) in Corinthian Hills, I had to be dropped off and picked up on the sidewalk. The developer should have provided a decent and safer place for customers to get on and off their vehicles. The local government officials should not have allowed the developer this kind of trick in the first place.
One example of irresponsible property development
a) Constructing a commercial area without providing for a safe and ample space for cars to conveniently pass and drop off passengers
b) Making use of the sidewalk and part of the public road to scrimp on space.
c) Naming the commercial area as Clubhouse which connotes that it’s for the exclusive use of residents where in fact, it is a commercial building open to the general public. This could be misleading.
