I dragged my husband to the Excalibur Hotel to check out the Buca di Beppo Italian restaurant branch on the second floor. Instead of a grand dinner buffet, maybe a simple pasta and pizza would be better because we would be still full from the lunch and merienda during the reunion.
The minute we reached Excalibur Hotel’s parking building which is detached from the hotel, I already thought that it would not be an ideal scenario. With an expected heat, it would not be fun walking for half a kilometer to reach the lobby of Excalibur Hotel.
But since we were already there, we might as well check out Buca di Beppo. I’ve contacted their head office and they were very accommodating.
I didn’t like the ambiance at the Excalibur. The hotel casino looked old and because there would be teens and young children in my entourage, walking thru the casino floor to get to the restaurant would not be an ideal scenario.
After walking thru the lobby and seeing the restaurant, I struck this out from my prospects.
