Rupert Jacinto gave me a copy of the photos, for me to choose one photo that he would publish in the 2013 Faaabulous coffee table book.
I had a hard time choosing one single photo out of about 80+ shots. Pangit na pangit ako sa make up ko. Kunwari make-up but actually it’s the face!
After several days, Julienne helped me choose na lang. She spent several hours going over the shots frame by frame and gave me a list of prospects.
After two days, I still couldn’t find one single favorite of mine. Oyen said “Mom, frankly speaking, people wouldn’t even pay attention”. Oo nga naman, who would even bother to analyze my face, my wrinkles, my flabs. Ako lang!
So finally, with a better acceptance and realization of how I looked, I finally picked one.
I chose the one where I was standing beside a car, walang arte-arte sa pose. Basta ganun lang, nakatayo parang tuod.
This was after the shoot. I mugged my daughter with hugs and kisses.
