Months prior to the wedding, there was some difficulty limiting the number of guests to just family members and very close friends of the bride and groom. Also, there was a consensus that not all family members would be invited. Only up to the cousins, and not their children.

There were some guests who wanted to bring strangers to the wedding. The couple must have had a difficult time saying no or yes.
Edmund and I had 185 guests at our wedding.

Jennifer and Ric were telling me that in their experience, among the thousands of weddings they’ve officiated, the maximum number of guests was 300. The most elegant dinner reception was for 100 guests and it was a Michelin star for a cost of $300 a plate.

Jenny and Patrick wanted their guest list to be no more than 200 and they were pretty successful. I think the guests who showed up were only about 180.
The bride had relatives from Taiwan who flew all the way to America just to attend her wedding. Same on Patrick’s side. Oyen and I had to postpone what we were doing in Manila to be at their wedding.

The couple picked the perfect venue for their most important event. The gazebo area at Leal Vineyards didn’t feel too big for a party of 200.

My daughter said the vineyard has other nice areas perfect for tying the knot. I couldn’t explore because i had to lift my dress and tip toe to walk on grass. I couldn’t go very far so I just sat down.

I think the number of guests was evenly divided between the Tans and the bride’s side.

Blurred. The two puti photographers yelled “guys, if you cannot fit in the camera, beat it!” Complete with hand / arm motion which meant umalis ka, hindi ka na kasama sa picture. Some of my relatives found the two photographers rude.
