Our first night dinner in Barcelona was at the hotel restaurant on what they call level A which is actually the second floor.
Our group was the only customer that evening.

Black Angus roast beef with green leaves and pomegranate sauce
Grilled Sea bass with Quinoa salad
I split it into two kasi I wasn’t really hungry. I wanted to give it to Bong, pero sa kalaunan, kinain ko rin.
Caramelized Custard Cream and chocolate cake
I gave away my sweet dessert. After Scotland, my weight jumped to 131 lbs which was way beyond my 125 thresh hold. I want to maintain my 125 weight and 34 waistline so ever since we came back from UK and Scotland, I’ve been depriving myself of sweet temptations. Not that I want to be slimmer. It’s a health issue. I have sugar overload already and my knees could be affected by my heavier weight. Plus hinihingal ako.
The Espanyola waitress saw me let go of my dessert. She asked if I wanted fruits instead. She was too nice.
Choice of tea, coffee, softdrinks. One of the reasons my weight ballooned was because I drank Coke while in Scotland. Every time Edmund ordered coke,
ako rin, naiinggit ako. parang ang sarap ng coke pang-alis ng suya ng pagkain. This trip, I totally skipped the Coke indulgence.
I started drinking hot tea at saka kasi nga meron akong ubo.
I ordered chamomile tea. They brought manzanilla tea. That’s what they call chamomile tea pala.
The manzanilla that I know is the aceite de manzanilla, the one in a bottle that could be bought from Mercury Drug. Pag may kabag ang mga anak ko, yan ang ipinapahid ko sa tyan nila nung baby pa sila. Pagka merong silang kabag. Yan ang turo sa akin ng mama ko.
