Traffic has invaded our lives in the metropolis. Lately, it’s taking away two hours or more of my time from the office to my house.
I picked up a small notebook and a pen from Muji in Rockwell.
From Rockwell, we took J P Rizal, then up to Guadalupe. We were crawling like turtles.
Then suddenly, there was a very loud sound. I looked behind us, there was a big passenger bus. Ano kaya yung sumabog.
busted tire in the middle of EDSA. I didn’t want to stop so I instructed the driver to continue running, very slowly till we reach Robinson’s Pioneer. I knew the mags would be destroyed, never mind, I just didn’t want to stay in the vehicle or walk along EDSA while inhaling lavander con gasolina de alikabok scented pollution.
In what seemed like eternity, we finally reached Robinson’s.
My driver was only on-trial and this was his first day, napasubo sya agad.
He couldn’t remove the wheel kaya Edmund picked up experienced guys to change the wheel.
I was meeting my brother at EDSA Plaza hotel, I called him up to tell him that I would be late. Buti na lang he’s also along EDSA somewhere in Buendia. He would just pick me up from this mall. “Magshopping ka muna”.
I walked inside the mall, with no plans of following my brother’s suggestion. I just wanted some air conditioning and a decent place to stand while I wait for him.
I saw some tv displays, oo nga pala, Xmas gift ko sa anak ko.
Before I could choose, my brother was calling, malapit na daw sila.
