Our trip to London brought us first to Dubai.
It was our first time taking Emirates airlines and we didn’t know what to expect. Of course, we wanted to have a pleasant and safe journey.
Our flight took off at 12:15 am Manila time.
Orange juice or apple juice? Edmund chose apple juice. I had 0.
I tried closing the window but the button didn’t work. Or maybe that’s not for the window blinds.
I brought my 8 year old white Braun Buffle medium sized wallet to save on space and weight.
I also limited the weight and risk by bringing 4 credit cards only. I placed one card in another bag.
One male attendant placed an extra cushion on my sofa bed. It made a big difference, lumambot at masarap humiga.
I dozed off, when I opened my eyes, I saw Edmund sleeping while a chicken teriyaki bowl sat in front of him.
When the flight attendant saw me, he immediately asked whether I wanted to eat.
I was actually full but I ordered assorted sandwiches to try their food and service.
Smoked salmon, cream cheese, sliced turkey.
I must have slept for 3 hours. nagigising ako kasi there’s a toddler who kept on crying. Nag-ta-tantrums.
I couldn’t sleep na. Even if the seat could recline flat, nangangawit pa rin ang legs ko.
While I was awake, at least 4 flight attendants came in intervals asking if I needed anything.
They were very attentive.
After the fourth time, I asked for hot instant noodles.
The noodles were crispy. ay, sabi nga pala “wait for a few minutes”.
Hindi kasi maka-intay.
Ang daming laman, I couldn’t finish the noodles.
A———“Sweetheart, sweetheart, you want noodles?”
He shook his head.
A——– ‘Tart, help me finish, ang dami”.
E——— “Oorder ka tapos idadamay mo pa ako”.
A——— “Tart, ubusin mo kasi sayang, ang daming laman”.
E——— “tingnan mo ito, ubusin mo”.
A——— “Kala ko kasi konti lang pareho ng mga noodles sa atin, kalahati lang ang laman, ito, siksik”.
E——— “Ayoko”.
A——— “Ikaw you are not cooperative”.
E (laughs)- “Ayoko, idadamay mo pa ako”.
A———- “Ganyan ka na ngayon ha”.
E (laughs)
