PAL Flight to Bangkok October 31, 2018 Wednesday
Oyen asked for the help of the flight attendant to ask my seatmate if she would like to exchange seats.
The woman did not hesitate when asked, she said okay right away.
I saw a plane covered with gray plastic from a distance.
It didn’t occur to me at first that this could be the plane that skidded on the runway. I just thought how come it had no wheels.
So until when is it going to sit there?
The PAL flight PR730 to Bangkok took off at 10:05 am instead of 9:40 am.
See how congested Metro Manila is? I think I saw a glimpse of the roof of our house. Only if you knew exactly where your house is can you spot it from miles up there. The chances are very slim, and you must anticipate it and be ready because it would only be for a split second.
We’re up and away. This island is shaped like a tadpole.
I ate the peanuts, Oyen ate the almonds.
This chicken inasal and kesong puti enselada was surprisingly very good.
I was still full from the lugaw and skimpy shrimp noodle soup so I tried to eat light by saying no to the baguettes.
Yen and I both had fish
I didn’t want to eat ice cream but my daughter told me Carmen’s Best has strawberry flavor too, similar to Haagen Dazs
I got the strawberry, Oyen got coffee pili nut.
A—-“Anak ayaw ko na”.
O—-“Sayang naman finish it”.
This is probably where Edmund and 20 other golf friends are going two weeks from now.
I used the pillow but not the blanket.
We were given two Premium Lane passes.
The immigration form includes a question on visitor’s income. Always tick the first box. Don’t check NO INCOME or else you might be refused entry. Baka sabihin wala ka palang pang-shopping eh.
Playing Scrabble, Text and Twist helped keep me inip during the flight.
I am stuck, what’s the word?
Touched down safely after 3 hours.
I’ve been to Thailand a couple of times and the last time was in 2006 the day the most destructive and deadly tsunami hit Asia. I have no more recollection of how their airport looks like. This is fairly impressive.
When we see nice airports like this one in Bangkok we can’t help but wonder, why can’t we?
Gd am Ms Annie… the last word is ASKANCE.. 😉
Hope ul enjoy ur trip to BKK.. God bless u and Oyen always ❤️❤️❤️
Take care and happy shopping ❤️
