Today we said goodbye to Madrid. It was time to go home. I was proud of myself. There was no need for me to buy a new luggage because I actually didn’t shop a lot.
We took a cab to the airport. The airport lounge of Turkish Airlines in Madrid is as big as a basketball court, or maybe even bigger.
The plane from Lisbon to Madrid was older and smaller. The plane from Madrid to Istanbul was a lot bigger and newer.
I like planes with benches like this. I can conveniently keep my handbag and other personal belongings.
Edmund’s feet could reach the bench located in front of our seats. No matter how much I slouched and stretched, I still couldn’t reach the bench. #pandakaki
I did nothing but eat.
It would still be a long flight to Manila. I couldn’t wait till we get home and lay on our own bed. Seeing places far from home is certainly a blessing and a privilege but all these plane rides wear me off.
