We had a 1.5 hours lay-over in Helsinki. Even with that amount of time, we were in danger of missing our connecting flight to Tallinn, Estonia. Aside from a kilometric long distance walk to our gate, the line at the immigration counter was unexpectedly super long. We must be number 200+. The good thing was all the counters had an officer and they were processing the entries fast enough. Another good thing was that the immigration officer that we met has good memories of his recent vacation in Palawan, Bohol, and Siargao. He looks forward to going back to our country next year.
The plane to Tallinn was parked in the middle of the tarmac. We were hauled in a bus and we had to walk to the plane in very cold temperature and it was drizzling too.
the plane is small and has two propellers.
We were not seated together, every seat was occupied. The clouds were thick which made me wonder if the flight would be bumpy but thanks the heavens, the 25 minutes flight was very smooth.
We landed in Tallinn fast as if the plane would not stop but we landed safely and smoothly. Thank you Lord.
