I consider morning flights as cumbersome. Naha hassle-an ako. I taking a shower while the moon is still somewhere there.
In our flight from Manila to Dubai, we opted for an earlier flight so we could still have some hours in the afternoon to either go out for dinner or pasyal in Dubai Mall. That was the plan.

We’ve been to this airport several times in the past but this is the first time we are going to explore the city and not just the duty free shops.

We have Euro and US$ but they only accept their local currency
We went to the Emirates lounge for the limo service to bring us to our hotel.
The limo service is complimentary which we find very helpful. Emirates provides free drivers and cars to and from the airport but not to the airport from our house.
The driver told us that the drive normally took 30 minutes but could be longer during weekdays because of the heavy traffic. Ours took almost an hour.
We were instantly impressed by the architectural marvels built to impress the world. One of these is The Future of the Museum building.
And so this is Dubai.
