For three nights in a row, we capped our day with a 1.5-hour foot massage.
The first was where Oyen and I went thrice. Although there were many customers while we were there, the place was so quiet. Both of us had a good rest. An hour of foot massage was THB 300/px plus 50 tip.px.
The second night Edmund didn’t want to go back to the same massage salon because it was farther from our hotel. The one closer to our hotel charges double 650/ px for one hour plus THB100/px tip. Ayaw ko kasi sobrang mahal. Edmund insisted it would come out the same because if we go back to the cheaper one, by the time we reach our hotel we would be very tired and would be needing another massage. Sige na nga.
We went to the one closer to our hotel. I was still hesitant because of the stiff price. When we got there, the receptionist told us they have a promo, THB600 only for 90 minutes. My husband said “O, tingnan mo.” The first few minutes I was so annoyed by two Chinese customers who were on their phones oblivious of the disturbance they were causing.
The following night we were there again.
I made an advance booking because they were always full.
After we have paid, we were served ice cold tea that tasted more like a fruit juice.
I didn’t enjoy the first thirty minutes. There was a group of customers who were very noisy. Salita ng salita ng Chinese. I already asked the therapist to tell them to keep quiet pero walang mga pakialam. I was short of yelling at them. No manners!! There was a sign on the wall going upstairs to be quiet but the therapists were not strictly enforcing the rule.
We were served the same juice-like tea after the massage but this time it was hot and it came with mini empanadas.
We didn’t go on our last night in Bangkok kasi we were busy getting ready for our flight and bugbog na legs ko.
