Ford EDSA opened a temporary showroom in front of Ford Connecticut in Greenhills in preparation for the major renovation of its headquarters in EDSA.
I was there today at 2:30 pm. Ang init sa labas, 40 degress na ba?
I took this photo as as soon as I walked in. A sales guy noticed me.
Ang lamig, naki-upo ako. There were a couple of buyers. We have a new guy who didn’t recognize me. He looked at me trying to figure out sino ba ako, mukhang hindi naman bibili ng kotse. Pakuha-kuha lang ng pictures. I ignored him. I went to the service area and I talked to the security guard.
I went back to the showroom and sat there for 5 minutes. The sales guy was quietly observing me. Siguro sabe, nakiki aircon lang itong a’le na ito.
Ang sarap ng aircon parang I didn’t want to move my butt kasi ang init sa labas Dyos ko. Ganito ba sa Saudi?
Today, Edmund discussed with Jay Tagustos, Ford EDSA’s service manager the mechanics of two shifts. Since we’re temporarily combining the service areas of Ford Connecticut and Ford EDSA, we have to have two shifts to be more efficient and to accommodate all our customers, para hindi masikip. I think we will open from 6 am to 10 pm. Maybe it would be implemented in a few days. We have to make sure that those in the night shift will be able to buy reasonably priced meals too.
It’s 3 pm, ang init talaga, para bang galit na galit ang araw.
It’s business as usual at Ford EDSA even while it’s undergoing major renovation. All service are done at Ford Connecticut which is only around the corner.
The showroom is open in EDSA and Connecticut.
I went to Ford EDSA naman. I wanted to check my old things left in my office. My room there is always locked. I still have files and abubut. Baka kung saan naman mapunta kasi naghahakot na sila to give way to the renovation.
This Ford EDSA truck continues to serve us very very well. Ang luma na nito.

The service warehouse had been demolished to give way to a bigger and more efficient service area and additional parking.
Edmund is in a rush to beat the rainy season, pero inabot na rin ng tag-ulan. Tila in two weeks it would be raining more frequently. Basta lang wag malakas at wag bagyo.
In a few days, the excavation contractor would start digging.
Naykupo, payong, payong naman dyan!
I entered thru the back door. There were several customers.
I walked back and forth looking for the stairs, nawala. There’s a board up on the back wall.
A sales agent approached me and handed me a copy of the cars price list. Akala ko kung ano yun,
A———- “Ano ito?” When I saw that’s it’s a price list, I gave it back to her and asked instead where the hagdan is.
Sales agent— “Ano hong kailangan nyo?”
I ignored her question and instead, I asked again saan yung hagdan. She’s new and obviously didn’t remember me.
Sales agent—- “Sinong hinahanap nyo?”
Iniisip nya siguro bakit gusto kong umakyat sa second floor.
A————– “Wala akong hinahanap. Ang hinahanap ko yung hagdan”.
I saw our old side stairs to the service office. I walked towards the stairs leaving the girl behind. I turned my head and saw a colleague of hers speaking to her, probably informing her who. I. am. Will.I.am.
When I told Edmund, Nyke, and the sales manager that the new girl gave me a price list, they all started laughing.
Ayan kasi lagi akong awol.
