Freeze-dried Fuji apple crisps are my new comfort food. I first tasted them 14 years ago in Queens, NY. We went to a Costco store and I found a pack and loved it.
After that, I stopped buying and forgot about it. A few months ago, one time I was at the CVS Pharmacy, I saw a green pack of the same product, Fuji crisps. I’ve been buying that brand ever since. It’s an expensive treat because I could finish 10 packs in one day, at $4/pack. Hindi naman sya nakaka busog kasi it melts in my mouth parang bula lang. But it’s a good “calm my nerves” foodie and it also curbs my hunger.
I was thrilled when I found out that the kiosks inside Disneyland Park also sold Fuji crisps. Sayang yung balot, itatapon lang.
Hi An,
Trader Joe’s has freeze-dried fruits.
Allen’s favorite is their blueberries and strawberry, ihahalo nya sa warm oatmeal for breakfast.
Trader Joe— I will check it out.
Happy New year Bess.
