I didn’t want to have snacks because we were going to dinner after mass but my daughter wanted to bring me to Sunnies Cafe at the Fort. We seldom venture out in this area so she took it as an opportunity that both of us where around the area yesterday afternoon. She had a hair cut and a hair color, while I had some errands near Venice in McKinley Hill.
The prices are reasonable.
The place was busy maybe because it was a weekend.
She must have been here before because the minute we sat down, she already knew what to order. String potato fries.
I didn’t want to order anything, share lang ako sa kanya. I reminded her not to order a lot because we’re having dinner with daddy.
She ordered goat cheese ball with pesto dip. I ate one piece.
Prosciutto burrata
Theirs has a small serving of burrata cheese but generous in prosciutto.
We skipped the dessert.
This space used to be occupied by another restaurant called Stock market.
Nagclose na rin. I also noticed that the Chinese restaurant on the other corner building is no longer there. It’s now occupied by a Japanese resto.
Restaurants come and go except for a few lucky ones.
There are too many restaurants in Metro Manila. That’s why yoga classes and fitness centers proliferate also.
Eat, diet, eat, diet, eat, eat, eat and eat.
Oyen said celebrity Georgina Wilson is one of the owners / investors of Sunnies Cafe. I think that’s one of the come ons. You have to have a known personality you can brag about so that there’s instant recognition and easy name recall. Gaya nung restaurant sa Cliff House in Tagaytay, dinudumog ng parokyano kasi daw si Alden Richards and may ari. Alam nyo, ngayon ko lang ikukwento, partner namin sa Ford Edsa si Jericho Rosales, Boy Abunda, Kathryn Bernardo. Sa Makati Ford naman ay partner namin si Dennis Padilla, Piolo Pascual, Nadine Ilustre, FPJ Probinsyano superstar Coco Martin at si Lebron James. Sugod na kayo.
