We skipped the anticipated mass because I was having migraine. Edmund said rest muna ako then we’ll just have dinner after. We waited in our bedroom till the pain subsided.
I like it when my children come to our room. Parang naalala nung maliit pa sila.
7:15, okay na ako. We went to Robinson’s Magnolia to eat.
Oyen read somewhere that it’s good daw here in Gaucho. Sige let’s try.
My kids scanned their menu. Sige dito na lang.
There are round, square, and long tables.
Family photo muna. My head was throbbing, still.
The menu fonts are super small. I couldn’t read them.
E to waitress——— “Ang liit naman ng mga letters. Kung nakita nya (referring to me) ito kanina, hindi na kami pumasok dito. Paki sabi sa owners lakihan”.
I didn’t bother looking because I couldn’t even see.
My daughter did the ordering. She ordered Ceviche.
I asked if the chef is from Argentina or a foreigner. She said no, he’s Chinese. I asked if the owner is Cuban, Argentine, or foreigner. She said they’re Chinese.
We are not impressed when our orders are not written down.
I found the gambas overcooked.
The Ceviche was great. It had the right seasoning and the inclusion of slices of avocado was a surprise.
Edmund ordered this salad. I tasted it…. Parang wala lang. Only if you just want greens.
Oyen ordered Seafood skewer for me. She and Edmund had steak.
We made the mistake of ordering another steak. Kasi Yen and Edmund shared in Oyen’s first order, parang hindi pa busog. It took more than 30 minutes before this one arrived. They thawed pa the meat.
I was the last to leave the restaurant.
Gaucho is on the third floor, near the Terrace overlooking Robinsons Magnolia garden facing the residential condominium buildings under construction.
