We couldn’t get a table in Crew, Lemuria, Paparazzi, Red, etc.
Edmund hates Valentines Day. He hates the traffic and waiting in restaurants.
Edmund said we’ll just go to McDo.
It’s just the two of us. We just went to a nearby restaurant to avoid the heavy traffic.
It’s 7:20 and we were able to get a table at Casanova.
The waitress said it’s their last day. What? They’re closing this restaurant originally owned by an Italian expat.
Sayang, this restaurant is always our back-up. The place is small but the food is good, the prices are reasonable.
Their pizzas are good too. We love the one with prosciutto and arugula or basil.
We’re glad we came here tonight. Although it’s kind of sad to say good bye to this neighborhood Italian restaurant.
the waitress told us they would transfer here — Citrus, 2nd floor Rennaisance in Meralco Ave., Pasig
Edmund ordered pizza with prosciutto, they have no arugula, so basil na lang.
Dapat prosciutto with melon but they don’t have melon, so mango na lang.
the set menu comes with salad with gorgonzola (Italian blue cheese)
Mushroom soup with bits of lobster. Edmund said they pu too much garlic. No problem with me, I love garlic.
No kissy-kissy on Valentines Day.
The black pasta looks like bulate but they are good with the giant fresh water shrimp or Ulang. Saib ni Edmund “oh, pareho nung niluto mo”.
This prawn dish was delicious but they were served when we were soooo full already. I had it wrapped.
When we arrived home, Edmund said one day he’s going to write about how he survived 35 years of Valentines Day.
Hi! Just discovered your blog. I love it! Classy without being pretentious:)
