December 28, 2017 Thursday

We’ve been on the road for 10 days and we were running out of clothes to wear. We dropped off Yen and Nyke at a coin laundry shop wash our clothes while Edmund and I went to check out some things.

This’ what happened to my favorite Massimo Dutti short sleeves knit.

My Massimo Dutti knit shrunk

It was my fault. I was the one who placed it in the laundry bag. I also didn’t read the label that it’s made of cashmere. It was only after we got back to the hotel that Edmund read the washing instructions and I bothered to read the label. Wool Silk Cashmere. Dapat pala ito dry clean. Waahhhh!

From size L, it shrunk to a kiddie size. Do you have kids?

Oyen looks at my shrunk sweater

They were laughing but I was not smiling. That’s not funny. The cheap sweaters didn’t shrink. This one cost me PPPP. Wahhh. It reminded me of a sweater my Kuya Lito gave me from South Korea. That was when Oyen was only two years old and we were living in San Lorenzo, California. My husband went to the coin laundry and when he came back, my sweater, which coincidentally was also colored mocha, shrunk to a kiddie size. Nag tantrum ako. I shed tears of sadness!!!!
Yan kasi pag nasa medium or regular heat yung dryer setting.

  1. Ms. Annie, keep it for your future apo(s). Happy and healthy New Year to Tan-Yee family. God bless.

  2. The look on Oyen’s face and Nyke’s reaction to the sweater that shrunk to kiddie size— PRICELESS 🙂
