On my way to the NAIA 2 airport, a congressman friend of mine asked when I was traveling. I messaged him “I am on my way to the airport now”.
I was stuck in heavy traffic, something like 5 miles / hour. I texted him “It’s heavy traffic, putang ina”. Sa tagal ng upo ko sa traffic nalimutan ko kung saan ako papunta.
He’s known me for a decade and he knows that I don’t normally curse. He was alarmed and called me instead. He wanted to make sure he was speaking to the right person. That it was really me who was messaging him. What happened daw, I wasn’t like that before. Sabi ko, eh uso na ngayon nagmumura, nakaka-hawa kasi. We both laughed.
I saw the news clip of President Duterte saying that he promised God he would stop cursing. What a miracle. Ay thank you Lord.
