I just booked this hotel thru booking.com.
I had trouble choosing which hotel kasi ang dami and my preference was near the Covent Garden and Trafalgar Square. This’ my first time in this hotel. It’s old, maganda sa picture sa internet, sabi 4 star pero that’s debatable.
I had stayed at the 5 star Waldorf in Aldwych, which was closer to Covent Garden but ewan ba ngayon sobrang nadoble ang mga presyo.
No real lobby for guests to sit and relax.
Nice photo, that’s the one photo they emphasized in their website. That’s a restaurant kaya wala silang lobby. sa Gilid lang and check-in at sobrang luma yung lobby.
Our room was small but our bed was king-sized. The room naman looks newly renovated including the bathroom. The tiles were fairly new.
It was sunny when we entered the room and it was afternoon sun. I turned on the air conditioning but after a few minutes I noticed hot air was instead coming out.
I called the reception and asked to be transferred. Edmund and I inspected two other rooms but they were no better so we just stayed in this room, 710.
The room is probably 18 square meters including the bathroom. Ang hirap kumilos kasi nababangga kami ni Edmund sa mga muebles. In the middle of the night, pagpunta ko sa bathroom, nagka bangga-bangga.
Two nights stay here. It was comfortable and the hotel is centrally located.
