I waited for my son to come home tonight, or this morning. He hung out with his high school friends.
When he came home, he showed me a large envelope. It was a wedding invitation from the ahia (kuya) of his friend.
The sponsors are who’s who and some are running in next year’s election. Reception would be at the Grand Ballroom of the City of Dreams.
The invite is beautiful.
My son said this invite is not the more formal one. This one’s for the ordinary guests like friends of their siblings. The more formal one for wedding sponsors, relatives, business associates, and close friends and guests, is bigger than this one, as big as a magazine, and in a hard box, with an LED screen inside showing a ten minute pre-nup video of the couple. One costs P4,000 daw x 300 pieces. The formal invites alone cost more than a million pesos already.
