Happy na sya sa soy chicken or roast pork at mango juice with jelly (Hui Lau Shan). Kung ano gusto ko, gusto rin nya. When I enter a store, he patiently waits outside. Wala akong maramdaman na naiinis or naiinip sya.Pareho kaming matakaw kaya magkasundo kami sa pagkain. He’s a great travel and eating companion.
He laughed at me when I thought the abalone was a giant scallop.
Gusto daw nya seafood on our third night. So naglakad kami about three blocks from the hotel.
The fried rice was so delicious. I wanted to go back to this restaurant but we didn’t have time. Next time.
The roast pork was also very tasty. It tasted better than our lechon kawali.
When I ordered steamed fish, the waiter said “that’s three hundred”. I thought he was referring to the weight. He pointed at the aquarium then motioned that the fish is big and it only has that size. He repeated “three hundred”. Baka kako sobrang laki naman so I asked if they have a smaller one, he said no. Yun pala he was referring to the price of the fish HK$300 daw. Parang sinasabi nya mahal yun.
My worry naman was it could be too big for the two of us.
Me—–“Anak, we might not be able to finish it”.
Son—-“It’s okay mom, you like it naman. It’s my treat”.
My son paid extra 10% service charge kasi daw beginning 7 pm merong additional night differential.
Hi Ms. Annie — i can sense that you had a gentleman and very good son in Nyke. I am sure his girl is very lucky to have him. Thanks to you for bringing him up the way he is. And I admire your mom & son bonding. Still, you are his no. 1 girl 🙂 you are truly blessed!
