We checked in at the Green Canyon Leisure Farms in Clark where we would spend the night. Edmund was handing over his credit card to the receptionist but we were informed that the room was complimentary which we didn’t expect.
The art pieces looked familiar, most especially the wooden furniture like this giant chair. (Fast forward: I only realized when we were checking out the next day that I had met the brother of the groom who was the artist who made this chair, Niccolo Jose. In fact, I bought a table from him several years ago at his exhibit in Makati. He was selling a similar sized-chair for half-a-million pesos.)
I became uneasy after seeing one of the guests at the lobby, sobra syang bihis na bihis. I didn’t bring a gown, only a cocktail dress.
A—–“Tart, bihis na bihis yung mga bisita. Dress lang dala ko.”
E—–“Okay lang yan.”
We learned later on that the family of the groom owns the resort that occupies 47 hectares of land inside Clark which they are leasing for 50 years.
Husband had to move and park our vehicle near the gate.
We were given room 309. It’s spacious.
The design and finishes are simple.
