Halloween in Budapest - Oh My Buhay

Halloween in Budapest October 31, 2015

Our room was ready by 2 pm. I booked a room with a full river view of the Danube but the downside was it’s afternoon sun. Last April, our room was at the corner so it’s a little bit shielded from the sun although we still enjoyed the view.

The sun was so glary. The photos were not clear because of the afternoon sun.

After putting down our luggage, Mister Yee started snoring. He woke up at past 4 pm. We were both sleepy but we forced ourselves to go out.

The temperature has dropped. AT 5:30 pm, the sky seemed like midnight.

This musician is here at this spot between Intercontinental Hotel and Sofitel by the Danube every night except Sundays.

Our hotel has a very good location. My husband liked the area, it’s near stores he is familiar with. He’s been to the C&A in Geneva, Marseille and in Paris. Their items are low priced.

The McDo sign always make me feel I am not lost and will never get lost anywhere I travel.

Al fresco dining in a cold winter night at Casablanca. The waitress is from Kazakhstan. She said she worked as a nurse in a hospital in Saudi Arabia with many Filipino co-workers. She came to Budapest for love.

I wanted to buy this dress at Zara but Edmund said my daughter doesn’t wear this kind of dress. I like it it’s cute.

Along the Fashion streete were Hungarian handicrafts and food vendors. Last April, they were in the middle of the square, now, they’re on the side street.

There’s a Starbucks at the end of the street. Edmund stopped for coffee. I had hot chocolate drink with skimmed milk and whipped cream.

It’s called but very nice to be out. It’s halloween night and there were many people with scary make-up and costumes.

We’re back in the hotel by 8 pm. Parang hatinggabi na.
