I bought almost two thousand packs of chips and cookies. Oyen also bought a hundred more packs of marshmallows and some more goodies. We also bought three containers of filtered water and a pack of ice.
Oyen bought headgears for the maids and for our dogs too.
When it comes to goodies, my motto is it’s better to be sobra than kulang. Yung sobra we can bring to the children’s hospital.

Trick or trickers came in droves beginning at 3 pm. It was so hot and we pitied those wearing Dracula, Spiderman, and heavy costumes. I
One guy came wearing a winter jacket and a plastic mascara.
I was happy to see our future son-in-law enjoying himself while helping us celebrate halloween.
The maids were busy in the backroom.
Stella got a lot of attention except that we were worried she could disappear.
We only have treats, no tricks.
Kids of village employees also came for the Halloween.
After 4:30 pm, the crowd thinned out and Oyen stood outside for a “drive thru’ Halloween. Kids were so tired getting on and off their vehicles so we told them not to come down anymore. Oyen just handed out the goodies while the kids stayed inside their vehicles. There were a couple of vehicles that did this.
There were three boxes full of excess goodies. We will repack them in brown paper bags and distribute to sick kids at the National Children’s Hospital. I will buy several boxes more to make sure we have a lot and enough for everyone.
Edmund and Oyen observed that there were fewer Trick or Trickers this year. Unlike in the previous years when vehicles queued up in our street up to the corner, this year it wasn’t like that. A few times there were four vehicles in line but unlike before na traffic talaga in front of our house.
