Hanging out with Cecile - Oh My Buhay

Hanging out with Cecile

Cecile told me she’s been a regular Oh My Buhay reader for several years now but she doesn’t remember how she found me. When Edmund and I were in Bacolod, she toured us around her hacienda and even let us visit her nice home. She also treated us to a sumptuous chicken inasal for dinner.
Cecile was in Manila for a few days to watch some shows and I wanted to return her kindness.

It was fun hanging out with her for a few hours.

The portions were big so we just split our orders.
Soup, Cowrie grill

Even if we split the salad in half, the portion still came out like a regular order.

We also split the pasta. I surmised that I could finish one whole order of pasta if I would have no other order except for this one. No soup, no salad, just the pasta. The half-serving was the equivalent of a regular serving in other restaurants. It was also heavy on the belly.

After our lunch we went inside Promenade and had yogurt. This time she insisted on paying.

I wanted to drop her off where her sister was but she wanted to walk around the Greenhills area so I left her there. Cecile’s such a nice person and masayahin.

  1. Thank you for the time spent and the treat, Ms. Annie! It was seeing your place of work and spending half of the day with you.
